The South Tyrol-North Tyrol-Salzburg region contains five locations that each have an eventful mining past. Exhibition mines and themed trails have been prepared to communicate this to locals and tourists: these attractions will be further developed and networked.

An important contribution is being made by the Interreg IV Italy-Austria project “Mining Experiences in the Eastern Alps”.
